You can make own Udon!
Possibly the school you can graduate the earliest in Japan! Making UDON from scratch ! Kotohira city is located in the west of area in Kagawa and it is said that the more the west you go,the more Udon gets delicious! (because of the quality of water)

Special approach to the main gate
It is famous for its long stone steps, with 785 steps leading to the main hall and 1368 steps to the inner sanctuary.Climbing these steps offers a sense of accomplishment and rewards visitors with stunning views.

Food crawl
Along the approach to the shrine, you'll find a variety of shops selling local specialties such as Sanuki udon and sweets, as well as souvenir shops offering unique products from Shikoku. Before you know it, you'll have climbed all the steps.

Marugame Castle
In kagawa, Marugame Castle Tower is one of 12 wooden made existing castles in Japan, and designated as National Important Cultural Property.
It is also known as the castle with the highest stone walls in Japan. Castle Festival is held in the begining of May, spring holidays season every year. -
Mt. Shiude
Mt. Shiude has been recognized as one of Japan’s most beautiful sakura sites and was featured on the New York Times’ list of 52 places to go in 2019.
Reservation is required for private Vehicles, 2025 Cherry Blossom Season (March 25 - April 13 ) and we will make a reservation to get you there. -
Zentsuji Temple (The 75th temple on Shikoku 88 pilgrimage)
Healing Buddha is worshiped here. This is the birthplace of St.Kukai who is the founder of Shingon Buddism.It’s just 1 hour away from Takamatsu city to Zentuji city by JR.
Zentsuji city is full of rich history,nature, delicious UDON and Japanese sweet shop since 1896.

This tour is weather-dependent.Kagawa is known for sunny weather prefecture but in case of rain, we can still stick to the tour itinerary if you like or I'd be happy to suggest alternative options.
If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances like illness or severe weather, please inform us as soon as possible. If the cancellation occurs 1 week advance ,there will be cancellation fee. (50% of the tour fee )
Please be aware that some of the locations we visit may be crowded on weekends, as some do not accept reservations. I will do my best to plan the itinerary to minimize this, but your understanding would be greatly appreciated should this occur.
